Afternoon Tea

Date With My Love

We were lucky enough to receive a gift voucher for afternoon tea at Marco Pierre White’s restaurant. It was a Christmas present from my father, I know what you’re thinking, why have we only just been when we got the gift back in December. Well I’ll tell you, this is one busy and booked up afternoon tea, we couldn’t get a date until mid June!

I had such a lovely afternoon spending quality time with Dave, sipping on bubbly and eating nice food. Thankfully they catered for my gluten free allergy, meaning I could eat away without having a care in the world. My favourite sandwich was the ham and cheese, now that’s a classic!

Lunch Date At Greedy Cow, Margate

Lunch in Margate’s Old Town

On a recent trip down to Kent visiting Dave’s family, we headed to our favourite foodie joint in Margates old town, The Greedy Cow. If you ever find yourself in Margates old town and your looking for a spot of lunch make sure you make a visit here, their cheese toasties are to die for! Oh so good!

After filling our belly’s with cheese toasties and milkshakes, we headed for a wander to Dreamland. We haven’t been back since our wedding day last May! It was so much fun to revisit and re-live our special day. I love visiting Margate and it’s defiantly in one of my favourite places and one I would book mark if I moved out of London. I have more snaps from our weekend by the seaside and will be sharing soon!

For now, I’ve got a glass of wine and looking forward to a long weekend. Have a wonderful Easter weekend all!

My day in pictures…

FloralFloral1Here’s a mixture of photographs from Saturday, we were down in Kent visiting Dave’s family. We went to family friends where Dave was able to do some rolling car shots with very fancy cars (which made him a very happy boy) this pretty country lane was by their house and we took the opportunity to take a couple of photographs. Also I had my hair cut for the first time in oh so long, that I can’t even remember when! I really enjoyed getting pampered and pleased with the cut. FlowerDog1 DogsIn the evening we went to more family friends, who had this lovely fluffy dog Millie. Coco was thrilled to have a friend to play with. They also have a cat called Waffles, who wasn’t to sure about having two dogs but was very friendly and brave.CatWe ended the day with great food! All in all a great Saturday, We also got a little sunbathing in, which is not something I usually do but it was nice to have a little nap in the sunshine. I made sure I had plenty of sunblock on and kept my head in the shade. I’m not one for to much sun! FoodFood1Food2Photos – By myself &  Shooting Dave

Sunday Afternoon…

Pub2PubWhat a better way to spend a Sunday than in the pub eating food and lots of it. I had a roast dinner and Dave went for a good solid burger and chips. We were joined by friends and of course Coco, as we weren’t in a dog friendly pub, we were banished to the beer garden, which is very pretty but not good on a rainy cold day. They do provide blankets, hot water bottles and have out door heaters so wasn’t all bad. Plus this pub is one of our favorites in Birmingham and every time we go home, we make sure to pay a visit!
