Sunny Days

What a scorcher of a weekend, with Saturday it hitting temptress of 77 f (25 c) so pretty damn warm, especially for moi! With the heat in mind I opted for a low key ponytail but I didn’t want to look basic so dug out some jazzy earrings. While picking which earrings I wanted to wear I saw these red ones and it made me think how cute they would look with this skirt.

Then it came to what type of top to wear, I thought I’d get my shoulders out so they could catch a little tan while on our daily walk – don’t worry I sun blocked before we left the house and we had our face masks in my bag (you have to wear them while out and about in public here in LA, I just took it off for the photos).

I haven’t worn this little Bardot crop top since we went to Florida but it was perfect for the LA weather. I also have it in black and will be getting them out a lot more over the coming months.
I just love it when an outfit comes together and more importantly I felt cute wearing it, which is always a bonus! I’m pretty sure this will be come my summer uniform. I’m thinking I might make a couple of skirts similar to this as it pretty much the perfect skirt, nice midi length, has pockets and nips in at the waist. Will keep you posted if I make some!

Just wanting to check in on y’all, how’s everyone doing? We’re in something like week 5 of lock down. We’ve increased our daily walks and its making such a difference to our mental health, plus the weather has been lush and far too nice to be stuck indoors. We’re still limiting our supermarket visits to once a week or as long as we can go without running out of food. I’m missing my friends and coffee shops but over all were doing pretty good. I’m longing for some board games or a good puzzle. I’ve seen this Simpsons one on Urban and this cute dog one on Amazon very tempted to get Dave to order them for us to do over the weekends. What are you all doing to keep entertained while stuck at home?
