Duke Street

Wishing you a happy New Year!

We’ve been back in the UK, down at Dave’s parents in Kent for Christmas and it’s been just what we’ve needed from the holiday season. I kicked things off with a cheeky hair cut on Christmas Eve. I’m loving my new shorter do and has put a spring back in my step.

This years been extra special as my mother & step father have been here too! It’s been walks along the sea front, plenty of hot chocolates, lots of playing board games and lots of amazing food. In my opinion the best way to spend time off.

Today we start the second leg of our trip by heading to London for New Years Eve with friends then up to my fathers in Stafford. We’re really trying to squeeze in as many friends and family as we can while we are here. I’m excited to see my father and have a good catch up, he lives in the cutest village and if the weather is on our side expect some pictures!

I really enjoyed writing my last post looking back over the last ten years. I love setting goals for the year ahead – not that I always achieve them. When we’re back home in LA I think I’ll write what I’d like to achieve for the next year and even the next decade. It’s an exciting time as my work permit should be arriving this month and then my journey over in the states will really start.
