Happy Holidays

Happy Holidays

I’ve just finished packing up our cases as we’re flying home for Christmas tomorrow. I’ve got Klaus playing on the tv – its that new Netflix one and its so good!

To get in the festive mood this year I’ve been drawing plenty of christmassy illustrations and watching all the festive films. It’s the first year, in many that we haven’t had any decorations up. Usually soon as the 1st December hits our tree is up, we have fairy lights sparkling and the snow globe is out. As we didn’t know what size our new LA pad would be we left our decorations back home with family. Next year we will be going all out and I’m thinking a colourful tree with fun babbles! I think ill be hitting up the January sales to get some bargain decorations.

I’m super excited for Christmas this year, we’ll be reunited with our family after four months apart. This is the first year my Mother & Step Father are joining us down at Dave’s parents for the holidays. I’m looking forward to lots of family time, hot chocolates, board games and of course plenty of food! I plan to soak up every moment with the family as not sure when our next trip home will be as we currently haven’t made our travel plans for next year.

I’ve really enjoyed creating new illustrations this year and have lots of gaols for the new year, including selling Christmas cards. I think some of these would make wonderful cards for Christmas 2020.
I especially love these dog ones inspired by Bennie the most beautiful Golden Retriever. I’ll be sharing a couple more on my instagram over the next couple of days so be sure to follow me along there for even more festive drawings.
