Party Time!

Accessory Edit:

With the party season I often feel compelled to buy a new outfit for Christmas and New Years Eve but in truth we all have a little black dress or in this case a little black jumpsuit that we already own, that could be jazzed up with a couple new accessories. I wanted to show how taking a few different accessories can add that finishing touch to any look. Most of my accessories are oldies but I have searched the web for very similar ones which I’ve linked below.

When wearing an all black outfit I loved adding a touch of gold whether that’s through large earring or hair clips. I’m a fan of large statement gold earrings like these ones below which are from Zara but have found a cheaper version on Topshop.

I also love a good hair clip too, and doubling them up is even better in my book. I’ve mixed and matched two different pearl clips to create a layered look. I’m also a fan of hair bands and think this leopard number added a little somethin’ somethin’ to any outfit. I would really like to get my hands on a velvet tie knotted one or even one of those plaited ones, I do love those princes style padded ones too but unsure if they would work for me, with my already large head. Adding a bit of velvet or silk never goes a miss over the festive season.
