Tickled pink

I can’t believe it we are now into December, this year has flown by! I must admit it is very strange having the run up to Christmas in mild temperatures but alas I’m also enjoying not wearing about a billion layers and the freezing cold temps. So far I am struggling to feel festive, I think the fact it’s still pretty sunny and we have zero Christmas decorations in our place. We left them all with family back in England. I now see this as a big mistake but we didn’t know what our new place would be like when packing up our old flat in London, if we would have storage or even space for a tree, we do and next year we will ago full out for the festivity’s as we will be having our first LA Christmas next year.

I’m still getting to grips with dressing for our new climate, over the summer it felt alien to me to leave the house without some sort of layering piece but in the LA heat you defiantly don’t need any extra layers. Now winter is setting in I’m getting to dust off my jackets and jumpers.

This dress has been a great investment piece, it works in warm weather but also in cooler temps. It can be layered with a jumper or worn with ankle boots and leather jacket like I have here. It’s been nice wearing ankle boots for a change, I mainly live in my trainers as we all know. I do love a good midi dress and trainers combo but fancied a change and went with my old stomping around ankle boots.
