Home Sweet Home

We moved into our pace in Los Angeles about two months ago, it’s taken a while but it’s finally starting to look and feel like home. Helped massively by all our belongings finally making it from London to LA – it only took three and a half months! Having our stuff around the place has really helped add that homely touch to the new pad.

Too inject a little more us into the very blank apartment we took a trip to Home Depot, picking up this gorgeous blue paint by Behr in colour Deep Breath for anyone who fancies it. We spent the Saturday sprucing up the joint and were finally able to unroll our new rug. We also popped to Ross dress for less (for those unfamiliar with Ross, its like a TKMax style store) and picked up this coffee table. We actually live about 5 mins walk from a store, this is where our side table is from too but I got that a couple weeks back. With the wall painted, the rug down and the new additions added to the lounge it really feels homely. We also got a cheeky little neon sign, well its LED not real neon but is still very effective.

We have a lot more art to put up on the walls and still after an arm chair and maybe some shelves for our knickknacks but over all the lounge is looking good! I love the mid-century style furniture we’ve collected so far and really pleased with how our new place is turning out.
