Joshua Tree

I think Joshua Tree National Park is easily my favourite place we visited on this trip. I fell in love with Joshua Tree back in December when Dave and I first visited, I’ve fallen even more in love with it this time. We arrived a lot later in the day than planned (we visited the Hoover Dam on the day day and it was about 4 hour drive to get to JT) we did however, arrive at golden hour. Queue dreamy golden snaps! This place was the perfect way to end a great week in Vegas and an even better road trip back to LA.

I’m really pleased we were able to share this beautiful place with Dave’s family, and that they loved it as much as we do. It’s really hard to describe its beauty, it really is one of those places you just have to visit to get a real sense of it. We headed to Keys View for breathe taking views and then into the park for a little wander. I jumped at the chance to get some sunset snaps and did Dave deliver the goods. I did feel a little sweaty after a days drive in the heat but I’m pleased with the snaps. Once the sun had set we headed into town and had grilled cheese sandwiches at Crossroads cafe. Dave visited here last time and it was just as good as we remembered! Then it was time for our road trip to end.
