Up Town Girl

Hope you’ve all had the merriest of Christmases!
I’ve had a lovely Christmas, relaxing with friends and family, in-fact I totally forgot about blogging. Doh! I had such fun switching off that I haven’t posted in a while… Way back in November, on what seemed like the coldest weekend of the month, typically, after having a warm stint, the one weekend we’re free to shoot party season looks its gets bloody cold. Despite the cold we managed to smash to shoot and I’m so pleased with the out come.

I knew I wanted a typically British look and headed to Chelsea, in particular the Albert Bridge. It’s the perfect backdrop for any party look. For this look I went for warm golden tones. Wearing a dress I actually wore as a bridesmaid dress for one of my besties wedding. Layering an old black and gold beaded jumper from Walis over the top.

Now I have the base of my outfit it’s time for accessories, this adorable star hair clip is perfect for the party season. I’m also using my pink fluffy bag, I mean its my favourite bag of all time. it adds a touch of glamour to any look and I think it ties in the pink tones within the skirt. Finally adding my gold shoes and ankle socks to finish off the look.

What I’m wearing –
Faux Fur Coat – Vintage M&S
Dress – Maya via ASOS
Bag & Socks – Topshop
Jumper – Walis
Shoes – Mango
Star Hair Clip – Oliver Bonas
