Wedding Day: Getting Ready

I can’t believe its been nearly 5 months since our wedding day!
I thought I better get my butt in gear and share our big day, especially as some of you have asked. As you can imagine I have a fair few snaps to share, I thought best to split the posts up.

Why not start in chronological order. Getting ready in our Air BnB was a dream. I had my Mother and Step Father and Clare with me, all the bridesmaids joined us at the house to get ready, it was fun all chatting and drinking gin. I felt like the morning was going by so fast, I had hardly slept, due to my excitement and neves. My father joined us intake for a gin. I was desperate to savour every moment but at the same time couldn’t wait to marry Dave.

First up I had my hair done by my lovely hair dresser Kailey. I went for a 60’s half up beehive style with loose curls. I wanted to stay true to my dresses style and I’m so pleased with the final look. My make-up was done by Karen and she did a cracking job making my skin looking flawless and giving my eyes the best winged eyeliner of my life. Honestly I’m pretty pants at doing eyeshadows and Karen made all my dreams come true.

I stayed in my PJ’s right up till the last moment, mainly for fear of getting anything on my dress. The minute I put my dress on was like a ‘ta-da’ moment with everything coming together. I felt truly beautiful and couldn’t wait to get down the isle and marry Dave! I will share more from our special day very soon.
