Sunny Seaside Strolls

I had one of the best weekends I’ve had in a while, after a gruellingly long week at work we headed down south to Dave’s parents. Thankfully as schools were still on holiday we managed to get out of London with very little traffic and made it home in good time. On Saturday we had a slow start to the day, taking our time getting ready. Once dressed we headed to the seafront to meet up with the Grandparents and grab a coffee. This turned into lunch with Grandparents and cousin Gabriella – it was so good catching up, we haven’t spent much time with the family since our wedding day.
After our lunch date we headed to Stone Bay Beach, one of my favourites down in Broadstairs. After a little stroll on the sand we snaps some pictures. I’m really pleased with how they’ve turned out and was a great nod to one of the final weekend of the summer.

Later that day we headed to see Clare (Dave’s sister and my bestie) new house she’s brought. It’s a cutie and I can’t wait to see how she decorates and makes it her home. On Sunday we visited the Shell Grotto in Margate. It’s been on my visit list since Dave and I started dating, like 10 years ago. Was good to finally tick it off my visit list, it’s such a random little place but worth a visit if your in the area, also has the best gift shop! I happened to pick up three vintage style cards to frame. They’re of different sense of Dreamland, where we got married. I’m planning to frame them and up them up this weekend. It was great to have quaintly family time and just relax after such busy week at work. I feel very fortunate to have had so much family time recently, not long ago I visited my family for my Aunts 80th and spent the weekend at my Fathers house. I’m very lucky to have such a loving family. Before this gets all soppy I better take about my garms’ I mean thats way y’all is here after all.

I loved this tee so much I had to pick up the white version too. I mean, I couldn’t help it. Also I am guilty of being an outfit repeater, I hold my hands up. I guess it works so well why not repeat it. I hope your not bored of tee’s and midi skirts, I promise I’ll mix it up a little soon! Just been too warm to want to wear jeans but with the weather turning slightly this week, I might be doing just that this weekend. If you have any outfit ideas or styling you’d like to see here, let me know and I’ll see what I can do.
Also I am working on a wedding post, just have so many snaps to filter through!
