It’s only 17 days till our wedding! I thought it would be fun to share some of the little details I’ve been working on for the big day. I’ve already shared our ‘Save the Dates’ and Wedding invites with you and to keep with the same theme we’ve gone for our wedding favours to be sticks of rock and our confetti to be fun and colourful.

One of our favourite photographs from weddings is the confetti shot. When searching online for biodegradable confetti my mind was blown by how expensive it is and just how much you will need. I just couldn’t get over it nor could I afford it. I went for the budget DIY approach and yes, this did take me ages to make. I found biodegradable and acid free tissue paper on Amazon, I also snapped up two heart shaped cutters, these candy stripe paper bags all for less than £25. A couple of evenings watching films and with friends over to help cut the heart shapes and our confetti was done.

With all the major things taken care of I can really start to enjoy the smaller details and see our day is shaping up nicely! I will be sharing some snaps of our day on Instagram so be sure to follow me on there for the first sneak peek of my dress and venue!

Using the design from our ‘Save the Date’ invites I had these stickers printed at Solo Press. I’m really impressed with the quality and price. I love the deign and can’t wait to use the left over stickers to jazz up note books and when sending letters.

For our wedding favours we brought classic sticks of rock from a local seaside store in Margate, they have Margate written inside them and have a cute picture of the seaside. Too add that extra personal touch by using our stickers.
