Mellow Yellow

Last weekend we headed down to the seaside town of Margate for a fun weekend of wedding planning. We’re getting closer to our wedding date and it feels great to be ticking off some big things off our list. Like meeting our florist to discuss our flowers. Chatting to our florist about our ideas and having her creative input is making me even more excited for our big day.

After talking all things flowers we headed for coffee in one of our favourite spots in Margates Old Town. Snapping some pictures in another favourite spot, I’ve done a couple of outfits with this backdrop (see look one & two). In the afternoon we headed to Dreamland for our food tasting. We ate so much food, it was blooming marvellous! We’ve selected our canapés, starter, main course and desert, oh and some delicious wines, the last one is very important we get that right. 😉

Now I’ll stop waffling on about what we got up to and talk about this look. When I spotted this blouse in Zara I rushed over to it and was just in ore of the sleeves, I mean they did good with this beaut. I knew exactly how I would style it. Going with a retro 70’s vibe by wearing blue cropped jeans, brown faux fur and adding a highlight of red to bring out the colours of the flowers within the print. I had my eyes on these earrings from H&M for a while so I nipped in to get them to finish off the look. Thankfully I had some birthday money to treat myself to these goodies.

It feels like my hair has suddenly grown and feels even longer than usual, it’s in need of a trim and colour touch up. To show off my jazzy new earrings I went with a half up half down pony. I think it does the trick perfectly.

What I’m wearing –
Blouse – Zara
Earrings – H&M
Bag – Topshop
Jeans – Oasis
Shoes – Office
Faux Fur Coat – Vintage
