Festive Red

Hope you’re having a wonderful Christmas Day. I’m writing this on Christmas Eve while drinking a nice hot cup of Earl Grey tea and watching the Muppets Christmas Carol, feeling very festive indeed.

I mentioned in my last post that I’m down in Kent spending the holidays with Dave’s family. In-between visiting family, watching Christmas films and scoffing chocolates (it’s so hard to resist at this time of year) Dave and I snook out to take some pictures. One of my favourite things about the holidays is dressing up fancy, even if were not going anywhere in particular I just love getting dolled up and what better time than Christmas!

This embroidered beaut is from Boohoo and its the perfect party dress. I’m a huge fan of embroidery and I love the mesh fabric. I think it will be cute with black ankle boots and a leather jacket. As its Christmas I’m wearing it with a whole load of red, I mean its my favourite colour, and it is ever so festive.

Too add an element of glam to the look I’ve teamed my jazzy gold boots and this hella cute bag. I picked it up in the Topshop sale, after one awfully long nightshift at work I saw they were in sale and had to pop into see if anything was good to be had, thats when I spotted this babe of a bag. I had my eye on it a couple of weeks back but couldn’t justify it, this time I happened to have some sale vouchers I had received as a Christmas present in my bag and snapped it up straight away. I’m so pleased with my new purchase and have been wearing it none stop since!

What I’m wearing –
Jumper – New Look
Dress c/o Boohoo
Bag, Earrings & Socks – Topshop
Boots – Office
Beret – Accessorize
