I’m a fan of a good patch bag and this new beaut is from the on point Missco Girl. I couldn’t wait to show it off, so for our first outing together, I opted for a monochromatic look.

Now I’m a girl who rarely dresses so casually, but you can see, I’m loving this new pair of ripped jeans, they are a recent purchase and I feel great when I wear them. Getting dressed seems so effortless and yet I look like I’ve gone to a lot of bother, if you get my drift? I searched for the right top to work with the ensemble – and importantly didn’t detract from this Missco Girl patch bag. I pulled out this cute cotton number, which is sadly the Cinderella of my wardrobe and doesn’t get worn often enough. It was the perfect piece for the overall look I had in mind. Now that I’ve found this top again, I will show it some love and pack it in the suitcase for my holiday, yup, not long now, I’m looking forward to hitting Florida, USA in May. (So very excited!)

I was almost ready to head out, but something was missing, so to complete the look I folded a neckerchief and tied it choker style, it really compliments the monochrome vibe. This simple touch is one of my favourite ways to accessorise, especially in spring and summer. I think it is seen at it’s best when worn with a subtle clashing print, nothing too harsh though. My outfit was complete, I just had time to pop some essentials in my new patch bag before meeting up for a casual lunch date with friends.

I must admit to being pleasantly surprised by this clever compact looking bag, it is so deceptively roomy, which is good news as I can carry more of my stuff than looks possible. Along with my make up bag, keys, nail file, purse and other bits and bobs I had stashed in there, I then threw in my sunnies, perfect for strolling in the spring sunshine AND a pair of reading glasses, necessary to check out the delicious lunch menu. I checked my lippy and viewed the outfit, happy with the results, off I trotted feeling sassy and looking forward to a good natter with friends, where I know my fab bag will be a talking point..

If like me, you love your handbags, then do head over the Missco Girl website and check out their great range of bags you will find plenty of choice, with something to suit your mood and wardrobe . Plus you will see how my girl Lolo has styled up a cute little red bag too! Enjoy.
