Union City Blue

Last weekend we headed up to Glasgow for the wedding of friends Colin and Laura. We travelled up on the Friday evening by train and stayed overnight with a dear friend Dan, then got to hang out all day Saturday.

Whilst in Glasgow, we visited the People’s Palace and as it is just so beautiful, we of course stopped to get some snaps. Sadly the tropical gardens weren’t open but it was great fun looking around the museum and finding out all about Glasgow’s rich heritage.

I had dressed for warmth and comfort, and boy am I glad I did as it was freezing, like -1.

I’m wearing this big warm jumper, just to be on the safe side I popped a polo neck underneath, adding a grey scarf for layering and all told it was an extra cosy outfit.

To complete my winter sightseeing look, vintage trainers were perfect to wander around the city, taking in the amazing architecture whilst keeping my feet warm and comfy.

Glasgow is amazing.

Yes, it has beautiful tropical plants inside it. It’s pet of the People Place in Glasgow, definitely worth a visit if your ever around that way.
Thank you, it’s always tricky keeping warm and stylish, thankfully this grey scarf is doing the trick! X
