There are times when I put together an outfit that I just love and yet somehow it doesn’t translate photographically.  Then there are other times when I’m not really 100% sure of my look and yet it turns out well in photographs. I think this outfit is the latter, I wasn’t totally sure whether the leopard print coat would work with everything else, but when we met up with friends for coffee they  complemented my look.  Later on when editing the snaps,  I was pleasantly pleased about how it all came together.

To me there’s a retro 70’s style vibe about it, I guess it’s the mix up of silver loafers, leopard print coat and frilled sleeve blouse, set against an urban street backdrop.

For me,  this outfit has two big loves, the silver loafers and the gorgeous blouse….just look at them,  I mean those ruffles are dreamy!

To style this look I added my pinnie style jumpsuit,  layering the blouse underneath and rolling up the trouser legs, then popping on a pair of loafers.  I must confess that it was a cold day and  my little feet were frozen.  For their next outing I can assure you that socks will be worn!  Funnily enough, it was an impulsive last minute decision to throw on my leopard print coat… and I’m so pleased I did!

Have you spotted those little paw prints? They are courtesy of  Coco, he had just walked through a puddle – much to his dismay because he hates getting wet!
