I just have to take a moment and look at my weight loss progress – I was gifted this dress way back when and sadly at the time it didn’t fit me, I had intended to style a photo-shoot using it but all efforts fell through with lack of a model or it being rained off. The dress sat in my wardrobe looking sorry for it’s self, when this weekend with a mini Indian summer and plenty of warm sun (see no jacket in sight) I though why the heck not I’ll try it on, and to my amazement it fit and not only did it fit, it looked nice. I’m really pleased with myself and this has spurred me on to continue my journey and not get complacent.
About this look – when I picked this dress from Choices (way back when) I knew how I’d like to style it and these images are exactly what I had in mind, fedora hat check, ankle boots check, festival bag check, whimsical location double check. It all came together perfectly and what gorgeous weather we had for September now in typically British fashion it’s back to rain. London is gearing up for Fashion Week, I have some plans and looking to share my favorites from the abundance of street style and of course I will be illustrating it.
