Gaudi Garden, Barcelona…

salou_018salou_013salou_007insta_spain01This was my first visit to Spain and I was beyond excited for our day trip to Barcelona – mainly to see all the Gaudi buildings. I’ve always admired them and to see them up close was just amazing and along with the rest of the city. Dave and I are already planning our next visit, I feel there is still a lot more of the city I’d like to explore.

As we we’re only here for one day we hopped on a open topped bus for a tour of the city and jumped off at Gaudi’s Garden, which is located at the far top of the city. Along the way we went past a couple of Gaudi’s building and the jaw dropping Garda Familia. It was crazy detailed and just amazing to see up close in person!insta_spain salou_005salou_015For our day out exploring Barcelona, I wore a new dress I’d picked up from New Look. I loved the croche details, the modest midi length and side splits. To the to keep the sun off my shoulders and stopping any chance of burning I opted for my light kimono, which is also from New Look. As there was a slight chance of a thunderstorm (which happened as we were leaving, thankfully!) I wore my fedora hat, this also helped keep the sun off my head. I’m also wearing my new sandals from Topshop, which since my last post I now have them in tan too – oops! they are just so comfy I had to get another pair – to finish off the look I teamed my vintage Chiltern Bag.salou_009salou_028What I’m wearing –
Dress & Kimono – New Look

    1. I’ve been lucky to visit some amazing places in Europe but I can only dream of heading to Africa and Asia, the furthest I’ve ventured is America. I do plan to one day. I bet you’re travels would make for some good stories! X
