Double Plaid…

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and Happy New Year!! I had a great time down at Dave’s parents but sadly I caught that horrid stomach bug and was out of it for two days – I was so ill I couldn’t travel back to London or go to work but I’m back in the big smoke and all is back to normal now!

We spent our New Years Eve with friends in a private pub lock-in, it was great fun and we spent New Years day recovering, doing lots of blog planning and going for a long walk. I wanted my outfit to be comfortable  and relaxed for our walk, I dug out this old vintage plaid shirt added my new blue jeans and for an extra touch I wore checked socks. The checked socks and beanie hat were cute stocking fillers from my Mother and my ever so pretty new Cambridge Satchel is from my Father. Oh how pretty it is!! I’ve wanted this bag for, oh about four years and now I have my hands on it eeek! I think it’s safe to say you’ll be seeing a lot more of it!

  2. Thank you! 🙂

I find inspiration from a number of different places, sometimes it’s street style images or other bloggers but most of the time I just enjoy mixing items in my wardrobe. It sparks ideas for new outfit combinations but mostly I’ve always liked being individual and as a child I hated when someone had the same as me or was dressed the same – I guess this lead to me trying new things and has continued into adulthood.

    1. Hey, I’m lucky enough to have a boyfriend who dabbles in photography and uses a pretty expensive DSLR with expensive lenses but I also have an entry level DSLR which I would recommend as you can change lenses and this will help your photos and photography to improve but for starting out my top tips if using a phone to take your pictures. I would recommend asking someone to take your snaps and do them outside in daylight and with an interesting backdrops. I’m not sure about a Samsung as I have iPhone but I think the tips above would apply to that phone too. Most of all have fun with your photos 🙂 hope this helps.

  4. The way you mix things around is amazing! This plaid shirt is gorgeous, but seems a little tricky to match with a coat (at least for me), and you nailed it nicely!

I read one comment asking for your pinterest, I am curious to see it too, if you have!

  6. Tailored, chic and in the coolest colour of the season, camel coat three quarter length coat is an investment to make. With a jacket collar and two pockets, the detail gives a masculine edge to the feminine soft touch fabric creating the perfect balance of trends. Wear yours with neutral tones of cream, grey, black or navy for catwalk-worthy style. http://www.mensusa.com/
