Hold Onto Your Hats…

Sometimes an outfit just comes together and everything goes swimmingly, this is one of those times! Like I said in my last post, I’ve rekindled my love for vintage and this has leaded me to digging out all my vintage treasures. This dress being one of them, it’s from my friends over at Mad Elizabeth. This time around I ditched the tights (although it’s a little short, its far too hot for tights!!) and teamed with my sandals and beloved fedora hat… We all know how much I love a hat. Then the outfit was born which I wore it for a dinner date with Dave.

  1. Love the outfit! On a completely different note, how do you keep your bangs so wonderfully neat and tamed in the summer? I find that once the temperature is even slightly higher than usual my bangs become a greasy mess.

    1. Hey! In the summer months my fringe does become greasier than usual and requires more washing than usual. For the in between washing days I use talcum powder, I don’t like using dry shampoo. Then I guess I blow dry my fringe into place and straighten it – I have naturally curly hair so have to straighten it. Plus I trim my fringe every two weeks. Hope this helps. 🙂
