Summer Layers…

With the crazy weather we’ve been having lately I just have no idea what to wear. One minute its hot and sunny the next it’s cold and tipping it down with rain. The way I get around this by wearing layers, there easy to take off if the sun pops out but great to keep you warm if the weather changes.

I find the  key to layering is light textured layers, in different colours, prints or fabrics. They add depth to the look which makes it interesting.

What I’m wearing –

T-shirt & Denim Shirt – Topshop

Jacket, Belt & Socks – H&M

Skirt – Vintage

Brogues – Office

Bag – Primark

Another way I’ve added texture to this outfit is by wearing two different floral prints. My skirt and little socks, the socks I brought with my birthday money back in February. I’m glad I’ve finally gotten to wear them. I’m loving wearing my brogues with little socks.

  1. I know, I hate it when the summer is on and off of hot and cold. Layers is really the best option, but I also hating carrying around a jacket. But you do layers beautifully, I love that jacket.
